Regional Advisory Committee Meeting for NJ NY Metro Area

This spring the NY NJ Metro CROP Walk Region met to share accomplishments, and to talk about plans for future ministries in our region and around the world. Present were our Regional Church World Service Directors, Marie Varley and Kae Kusterbeck along with representatives from many local CROP Walks. Rev. Bill Doster, committee chair, presented our Red Bank CROP Walk Coordinator, Janie Schildge, with a symbolic "Foot" sculpture to acknowledge our 30 years of walking to help end hunger and to encourage us to keep walking! The band aid on the foot signifies the difficulties and hard work involved in planning our hunger walks but knowing that we help so many makes all the work worthwhile. Thank You Bill. We appreciate your positive reinforcement of our efforts with this gift. Let's keep connected in our work to help end hunger one step at a time!
