MELISSA DOMINACH and KARISHMA JAGGERNAUTH students at Allied Health and Sciences were recently treated to a short tour of the facilities at Lunch Break in Red Bank. Both said the people were very nice and happy to share information on the services that Lunch Break provides to needy families in Red Bank. Melissa and Karishma learned that Lunch Break is a non-profit organization in Red Bank serving the community in many different ways. Lunch Break serves hot lunches Monday-Friday, and served more than 38,000 meals last year. They also distribute clean clothes to over 350 families a month. Lunch Break has a food pantry, where they collect non-perishable items such as canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, and paper towels.
