Teen Leaders Sent Wishes from Abroad

Two past graduates from our Teen Leadership Committee sent wishes to Red Bank CROP Walk while studying abroad for the fall semester. Eric Hackler a student from Emerson College (High Tech 2008) is studying in the Netherlands. Laura Iwanyk from Haverford College (Red Bank Catholic  2008) has been studying at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

While they couldn't be with us for our 30th anniversary hunger walk, Eric and Laura both  thought of CROP and sent wishes for continued success for our hunger walk.

Before Eric left for the Netherlands he helped by creating public service videos for us and Laura helped with the script for our Ruby Slippers for CROP video. In addition to her studies at the Cape Town University, Laura has been volunteering at a local orphanage for children with aids. She was able to see first hand the desperate needs of children living in extreme poverty.

They congratulate this years Teen Leadership Committee for making the commitment to help our local and global partners. Both Eric and Laura would like to encourage this year's high school graduates, the Class of 2011 to stay connected to CROP.
