This Week is World Water Week

While we're waiting to see if Hurricane Irene dumps too much water on us in New Jersey this weekend, please checkout how Church World Service is responding to the needs of 12 million people who are starving because of the worst drought in 60 years in East Africa. We talk about Food for All, Water for All is a necessity to survive.  No matter what language you say it in, water is necessary for life. Ranney school did a great banner in 2009 portraying this idea. Our bodies are 75% water, muscles and brain function deteriorate rapidly without enough water.. Water is needed to grow crops so people can feed themselves. You can read about what CWS is doing. Click Here.
