Teen Leaders Prepare for for CROP Kick Off Rally

Teen Leaders from  Monmouth County High Schools participated in planning meetings this summer for this year's 31st Red Bank CROP Hunger Walk scheduled to step out at Red Bank Regional High School on Sunday Oct. 16th . Each student represents a school or youth group and earn community service hours for working with walk coordinator Janie Schildge and committee member Janis Iwanyk.

They worked with our young graphic designer, Kara Romanezt in selecting the tee shirt design for this years walk. They created posters, worked on a tee shirt clothesline project and practiced a skit to be performed at the Kick Off Rally next Monday Sept. 12 at the First Baptist Church in Red Bank.

The rally is for recruiters from faith groups, schools and community organizations to pick up sponsor forms, recruiting materials, posters DVDs, stickers, tee shirts, and walk wristbands. Lots of educational materials are available to bring back to their organizations. Representatives from our 17 local partners will also be present to provide updated information on the work they do daily to help people.
