"In Sue's Name" On Line Fundraising for Red Bank CROP Walk - A Message from Ken Glossbrenner
I had no idea we would reach our team and individual goals with nearly two weeks to go. This is such a tribute to your generosity and it is a wonderful tribute to Sue's commitment to this valuable cause. Thank you ever so much.
For sure, we should take this moment to congratulate ourselves. Having earlier this year seen what this community can do when there is a real need among us, I had no doubt we could achieve these goals... but with two weeks to spare? Thank you, thank you, thank you.
In keeping good faith with Sue, I'm still obligated to note that needs of this world have no limit and no short-term objectives. It's all a LONG walk together. Team "In Sue's Name" will continue to solicit donations, both online and via checks delivered (made out to CWS CROP, of course). Right up until October 16. We're going start talking about getting to 150% of what I orginally thought were very aggressive goals. Is that too presumptuous of me? It is certainly not intended to diminish the incalculable value of what has already been given. It is for those who need that extra 30 or 40 or 50% much more than we do.
Love to all, and onward toward 150%!
The Glossbrenner Family: Ken, Morgan, and Hayley, and the rest of the team.

* a note from Janis Iwanyk - CROP Committee - I bolded one of Ken's sentences above because it so clearly stated why we walk. The needs of the world are so many and it is a long walk together. Every step we take, every little bit we do to help no matter how small the contribution makes a resounding difference in the lives of those our partners help. Red Bank CROP Walkers rise to the need exceeding goals in monetary donations and food collection donations. Their generosity of heart is loud and clear! THANK YOU
