Regional Advisory Board Welcomes Spring and Celebrates NJ/NY Regional Directors Marie Varley and Kae Kusterbeck

Last week at a spring Regional Advisory Board meeting Marie Varley Church World Service Director of the NJ/NY Metro Region lights candles on a surprise birthday cake for Kae Kusterbeck our Associate Director for New Jersey.   Smiles and enthusiasm from Marie and Kae are an integral part of their approach to CROP Walks. Their passion for the work of Church World Service over many decades helps to inspire all of those walking in local hunger walks. Members of the advisory board enjoyed hearing Kae and Marie talk of their early years with CROP Walks and refugees and trips to  CWS global partners. Kae has been with CWS for over 20 years and is grateful for Marie Varley's mentoring. They've made a  great team! Marie announced her upcoming retirement and her plans to continue as a CROP Walk volunteer coordinator! Happy Birthday Kae and we all send Marie our many thanks and best wishes!

2012 Red Bank CROP Walk Planning Meeting for Coordinating Committee and Teen Leaders is scheduled for Thursday May 3rd at the Red Bank United Methodist Church at 7:30 in Fellowship Hall. Please contact us at redbankcropwalk@gmail for more information.
