50 Days & Counting till 36th CROP Hunger Walk - We Walk on World Food Day!

50 days from today walkers from area interfaith groups, schools, and community organizations will step up to the start line to walk in solidarity together to help raise funds to support our 15 local partner programs and programs through Church World Service Global. CWS works in the US and in countries around the world to end hunger, poverty and to promote peace and justice.

Our challenge today is for adult participants to encourage their younger children, students in youth groups, and students in clubs at school to grab a container and decorate it. CWS posters will be available at our Kick Off Rally and can be cut up to decorate the container. Try to raise $1.00 a day for the next 50 days. Students can start out with the first dollar and ask friends, family, neighbors, anyone to donate another dollar. Challenge them to match your first dollar.

Every donation, every step helps towards reaching our goals for this year's 36th hunger walk. We're hoping to raise $120,000.
