The Great Gratitude Pumpkin Challenge

Our online fundraising teams have raised nearly $30,000 this year. They only need $1,800 to reach a $30,000 goal. Online fundraising is about 25% of our total fundraising goal for 2016. We've got a "Great Gratitude Pumpkin Challenge" for anyone who supports our efforts and would like to help us reach that goal and provide support to our local and global partners working to end hunger!

We support CROP Hunger Walks with "gratitude" as we remember each day that we have enough food and water to nourish our bodies which allows us to live vital and productive lives. We walk to help others to have enough food and water to survive now and have hope for the future.

When you go out to the pumpkin fields and find out how much your largest pumpkin weighs, consider donating an extra $1.00 for each pound. Can you help us to reach this goal by Halloween? When you donate online leave us a message about the "pumpkin challenge". Thanks!

After you make your donation, post a photo of your pumpkin on our Facebook Page and tells us how much it weighed. If you want, you can email us your photo and we'll post it for you. redbankcropwalk@gmail.com

Did you walk with us on World Food Day? Tell us about your experience walking to end hunger.

Did you know that one gallon of water weighs 8 lbs. and many people around the world walk miles each day carrying a five gallon Jerry can on their heads to collect water for their basic daily needs. That's 40 lbs.!

Not fun! When we think how we use our pumpkins, we think about things like Jack O'lanterns, decorated pumpkins, pumpkin pie, pumpkin butter, and pumpkin bread. All these are available at for purchase at a few of our local t-shirt sponsors! Sickles Market, Delicious Orchards, McCormack Farms, and Super Food Town.
