41st Red Bank CROP Hunger Walk

PARK & PICK UP MATERIALS RALLY 2021

PARK & PICK UP
 CROP HUNGER WALK RALLY
Monday Sept. 13th  3:00-7:00 PM

Our Rally this year will again modified for the safety of all our participants. We encourage masking and social distancing as you stop by our Park & Pick Up Rally.

Please plan to drive by the First Baptist Church in Red Bank  84 Maple Ave. Red Bank, NJ 07701. You'll be able to pick up sponsor envelopes, signs, and other walk materials.

You receive information on how you can do a food collection to help us meet our 2021 goals to keep the shelves filled for two dozen Monmouth County Food Pantries. Our goal is for everyone to chip in and set up family and neighborhood, school, and faith group food collections and for us to total all donations to meet our 18,000 lbs. food collection goal.

Decorate a window on your car and show your support for ending hunger through CROP Hunger Walks. Show  us which group you're walking with. (school, church, community group, even your family name!)

Our usual 5 MILE WALK ROUTE will be modified again this year due to the continuing Covid 19 pandemic and the Delta variant. We hope that everyone will again plan a smaller, socially distanced walk with their families, friends, school, or faith group. Walk in your neighborhood in solidarity with communities in Monmouth County and around the world that walk for many of their basic needs. (work, school, food, water, shelter, safety etc.)

Red Bank Regional High School will allow us to celebrate the beginning of our 5th decade of walking to end hunger. We'll have the big food tent at the high school on Sunday, October 17th from 1:00-4:00. We'll have music and the art contest. We'll also do a celebration lap walking together at 2:00 around the high school as we won't be able to do the large walk as in the past through the three local towns.

You can walk your five miles anytime during the week closest to Oct. 17th. We always walk the Sunday closest to World Food Day. You can walk at a convenient time anytime during that week and join us at the high school on Sunday October 16th.
