Kara Romanetz a graduate from Communications High School has once again contributed her talents by designing our 2011 Red bank CROP Walk tee shirt. Everyone loved last year's tee shirt...also designed by Kara. Kara is currently in her 2nd year at Boston University studying graphic design. Thank You Kara!
Two teen leaders from each of the Monmouth County high schools are invited to represent their school on the CROP Teen Leadership Committee. Representing various school groups they receive community service hours while they work together creating posters and skits to encourage awareness about how CROP Walks can help our hungry neighbors here in Monmouth County communities and in communities around the world.
Last year our teen leaders created a special "clothesline project" designing tee shirts that displayed information on our 17 local partner agencies. This year they have created some designs on the backs of the tee shirts highlighted some of the national and international relief efforts of Church World Service. We have seen natural disasters impact our own country this year as people have been impacted by tornadoes, flooding and hurricanes. On the international level we have seen the devastating impact of earthquakes, tsunami and severe drought.
They'll have a new presentation for our CROP Kick Off Rally Monday Sept. 12, 2011 7:30 Materials and 8:00 Presentation.
