What is it?

On Walk day our community invites all students and youth groups from the area to bring their creativity to life with an annual theme that matches the intention of our event. 


This year's theme is: “There is ENOUGH FOR ALL”

GUIDELINES FOR 2023 BANNER & POSTER CONTEST


Students in all grades or youth groups are welcome to participate! 

Younger students can make posters and banners focusing on clean water and healthy food. These can even be drawings on paper plates!  

High School students can focus on "Enough for All" in any one of these five areas: hunger, housing, clean water, climate change, and those displaced across the globe. 


We ask students to register for the walk and to make a monetary donation to help us reach our $143,000 goal. Food donations are also needed to help fill the shelves of two dozen Monmouth County food pantries. Goal: 18,000 lbs. peanut butter, rice, beans & soup - Hunger No More with 4.  


1. Registration form with donations - Artwork submitted between 1:00 and 1:30.

2. Name, school, grade, and email. 

3. Judging completed prior Walk starting at 2 PM. Artwork pick up by 4:30. 

Primary School Poster 18”x25” Banner – size 3’ x 6’  

Middle School Poster 11”x14” Banner – size 3’ x 6’  

High School Poster 11”x14” Banner – size 3’ x 6’’ 


AWARDS – Trophies donated by Beacon Awards

1st Place Receives a Trophy and Ribbon

2nd Place, 3rd Place and Honorable Mention Receive Ribbons
